Hey photographers! I have found that in my short time that I have been shooting, there are so many things that I know now, that I wish I had known when I was starting out. I realize that I am so lucky to have learned so much in the 1.5 years of owning a camera and working under my personal mentor that it is time to start sharing with others how I have come as far as I have. We all have been stuck at one point or another where we realize we aren't meeting the right people, booking the right clients, or making content we love. I have been there so many times myself. I have sat in bed crying because I think that I will never be as good as those other photographers that have thousands of followers on instagram. What really pushed me to get through those melt downs was advice and support from other creatives. In just a couple months I have not only made 2k followers on instagram but also got my work and brand to a point that I actually like and am proud of. It is all because of the knowledge I've gained and the work that I've poured into my passion.

Whether you need someone to help you get over the hump through a 1 hour chat or a whole day styled shoot- I will be there for you. I want to help my fellow creatives create in a way that they love and are passionate about. We can go over building your website, bringing in clients, posting intentionally and strategically, and much more. We can talk about the hard stuff -- ghost clients, contracts, what to do when your work is stolen, etc. & we can talk about the fun stuff -- how to turn dream sessions into a reality and make a styled shoot run smoothly! Whatever you want to know, I'll tell you. No, I don't know everything and I am not the only photographer offering mentorships. But I am a true believer in community over competition. I don't hold back my secrets. Want to know my locations? They're yours. Want to know how to develop presets? I'm on it.

Don't think that this is easy. You won't be instantaneously satisfied. This is hard work. My mentorship is here to push you, not do the work for you. If you're not ready to put in the time and dedication, then this is not the mentorship for you.

One-on-One Mentorship

My one-on-one sessions are in person and organized so that you leave not only feeling like you learned a shit-load of useful knowledge, but also with some content that you can use to promote your business. We will cover everything I can teach in a 6-hour time frame. We will start off with an hour or two of Q & A. Ask me as many questions as you would like! You will prep questions before our session so that you can get the most out of it. I will also go over how I set up the styled shoot that we then go and shoot together. I do all the work and you just show up to shoot.  I will show you how I get couples comfortable, get them to relax and interact, and how I adapt to the surrounding and lighting. After that, we will go to a nearby coffee shop and edit together. I will show you how I go about editing my photos and help you develop a style that you like or enhance the style you already have. Lastly, we will go over your website or go over how to make a new one and lastly we'll probably go out for a drink and hang, off the clock!

These sessions are $700 and will take place in the Bay Area, CA where I live and last about 6 hours.  Shoot me an email and we can get these set up.

2 Hour Skype Session

My 2 hour Skype-sessions are over the internet and organized so that you can ask me as many questions as you can in a 2 hour time frame. You will prep questions before our session so that you can get the most out of it. I ask that you send me these questions so I can prepare answers and I don't waste your time and your money thinking of an answer.  Assuming that your questions don't take up the two hours, I will show you how I go about editing my photos and help you develop a style that you like or enhance the style you already have. Lastly, we will go over your website or go over how to make a new one. I like these sessions because they are shorter and more convenient for both of us. Sadly, we don't get to meet in person, but these sessions can take place all over the world. I love getting to know other photographers, and who knows? Maybe we'll become such good friends that I will have to come out to meet you!

These sessions are $400. Shoot me an email to set up your session!
